Christmas Eve

December in Tonga is loved by big and little kids as you get to buy fireworks. We had been trailing some during the week and by Christmas Eve, Dylan and Lyndon had figured out which were the best ones, so bought lots of them. Similar to last year we opened up the compound to have an open air movie for the kids and to light up the night skies. It was quiet in the compound this year as it was only us and the Bishops, as the other two households were off island.

Getting ready for the movie

We were joined by the 5 Fines

The name on the box says it all!

This is what $400 TOP worth of fireworks looks like - hours of entertainment

Would you trust this mad man??

Tori, Karen and Anna didn't - they went to the safety of the pool deck for wine and nibbles instead.
