Back to Oahu we go for 3 final days of rest and relaxation before heading back to Tonga. We stayed at the Hilton as it was at the other end of Waikiki Beach from where we stayed at the start of this holiday 3.5 weeks ago. With over 1000 rooms, it was an all inclusive resort with activities, restaurants, animals, bars and shopping so we didn't have to leave it at all if we didn't want to. It was Halloween weekend and the place was all decked out for fun.
Emily and I outside the front of the hotel.
One of the Hilton accommodation towers (there were 5) on the beach front.
The view back up Waikiki Beach to Diamond Head, where we first stayed.
A morning cupper, the news on the ipad and the sea behind me.
In front of the lagoon pool at the resort.
The kids pool and slides.
Dylan and Lyndon on the screen at the photography hut. Lyndon and the kids had a surf lesson out front of the hotel while I went shopping at the Designer Factory Outlet.
African penguins and a pond of Koi.
The kids were allowed to touch them at the afternoon feeding time.
These colourful parrots were throughout the hotel.
Emily in front of the hotels' Halloween display. Each department had to do a stand with pumpkins and the public got to vote for their favourites.
These little turtles were in with the penguins and Koi.
Em and I in the waterfall.
On the beach at sunset in front of the hotel.
Another beautiful sunset, we love this one as there is a guy carrying his surf board which we think looks cool.
Emily and Dylan doing a pinkie promise, although they would not tell us what it was about.
