Hawaii - Maui, Kapalua Coast

We didn't get a hire car on this island either as getting around was pretty easy on the public bus and we also had organised tours planned for most days. On our rest day we caught the bus up to Kapalua to spend the day at the beach and to walk a small hiking trail.

Way too long for an afternoon, we only did a small section of the top left.

Lava flows that looked like honeycomb were found all along the trail leading to the sea edge.

The view of Kapalua beach looking back from the top of the trail.

We found a nice shady hidey hole for the afternoon.

Greetings from the Quirkes'.

Definately a good place for a LLD.

Our little island mermaid.

We panoramic view of the beach from out at sea.

Another little bay we found on the trail but it was a steep climb down so we didn't bother.
