Where did the Week go?

During the week Nan had a few extra activities planned for her. Both Em and Dylan had one entire day with Nan all by themselves. Em did art and craft all day which included a walk to our local rainbow shopping centre (a small Chinese shop/fale) while Dyl had Nan cooking up a storm, watch out master chef! We also had a few other activities for Nan including the Miss Helala competition, Tae kwon do, Hash House Harriers, TWISC (with Jodie), art and craft, Annie's birthday party and we even managed to squeeze in some lunches with Lyndon. Just a warm up for the Kings long weekend celebrations.

Art and craft at the Fine5's.

Rochelle and Mu (Moo) with their Bra Bag. Now Nan has some new ideas for her friends back home.

Princess Annie enjoyed a surprise birthday party at our house, on the back veranda. Em and Jodie even managed to decorate a chair just for her.

John was smooth operator and organised nibbles and drinks. It was a great night and the girls enjoyed a few bubbles. Possibly a few too many to.

The sarong section of the Miss Helala comp and they were supposedly judged on modesty too. These were very revealing for Tongan's. They had 3m of material but it mustn't have said you had to use all 3m.

The traditional outfits were what the girls had come to see. In between events they had other talent acts and traditional dances, quite the show for Tonga.

A great night was had by all and there were heaps of people not to many palangi's though. Luckily we got in early enough to get seats because in true Tongan style it all kicked off an hr or so late. The Princess was on time we were all just early as you can't start without your guest of honor.
