Emily was lucky enough to get an invite to join her friend Alice and family for a few nights up in Vava'u on a sailing boat. They flew up on one of their Chatham planes and then moved straight onboard for a night of rest in the harbour due to the Sunday rules. Once that was over they were off and exploring the island group. Even though the water is still a little chilly they managed a snorkel most mornings and heaps of swimming off and around the boat.
This is the company most people seem to use, you can self drive or take a skipper with you on your adventure.
Em fell in love with the pig carvings at Mangoes Bar, they get all the best seats too.
The worst thing about the land time forgot........ others know about it too.
The girls loved the front deck to spot shooting stars.
Craig supplied some entertainment when he broke down in the middle of the harbour and needed a tow.
Em doing her best super model pose.
The best show onboard was the glass bottom viewing window.
Em cooking up a storm, coconuts are ready.
The view of Tonga Beach Resort on the way home.
