It was time for another TWISC function, this one was a Jungle Party at Lata's Treehouse on the hill (Tongatapu's second only hill). After many costume trials, we decided on Steve and Terri Irwin (minus the stingray barb). With plenty of karkee around the house there was plenty to go round. Everyone dressed up from Jungle Hunters, African Queens, Tarzan and Jane and various jungle animals. It was a ripper of a night and the veiw out over the reef and Pangai Is was simply magical.
Cricky don't panic we are here.
Rochelle came as Sal (AKA The Jungle hunter's) native girl and Lata was an African Queen.
JJ was a mix of a wild bore and tarzan. Donna even had the zebra tail.
Craig and Marion did the Tarzan and Jane while Louise and Scott made the most as "The jungle" vines and all.
Linda Oto was the ring leader of the face painting crowd and her neice did an awsome job. You little minks.
Sione was the King of the Jungle and as usual the loudest.
"Steve" was trying to capture all the litlle beauties, Mike and Mal, the famous Leyland Brothers even made an appearence.
Even the chef at the BBQ had an awsome view and cooked up a storm.
The entire crowd gathered for the feast, bar "Terri" (Jodie) who took this shot.
We had a Jane V Tarzan trivia quiz, no sheep stations on offer but some how the boys managed to get up by one point winning a bottle of wine to share for their efforts. Everyone then moved to the veranda for the "Call of the Wild" competition.
As usual Sal lead the charge, not sure if rubbing up the tree helped his call?
JJ even managed a little chest beating.
Steve let out a big "Koo-eee!"
Linda and Sione sounded more like a mating call but got the biggest laugh.
